Corbett National Park, founded in 1936 under the name Hailey National Park and renamed Ramganga National Park in 1952, took its current name in 1957 from Jim Corbett, the famous naturalist and photographer. Corbett National Park is located at the foot of the Himalayas, amidst thick vegetation and irregular mountains with varying heights ranging from about 1300 feet to nearly 4,000 feet.

The climate in the Corbett National Park enjoys a temperate climate throughout the year, but the best time to visit the national park is from November 15th.

Summer (from March to May) reaches 40 ° C and the average temperature is around 30 ° C. Wild nature lovers are more likely to spot the animals.

The Corbett Falls offer a small but impressive view: they come from a height of about 60 feet and are set against the backdrop of a scenic green forest. It is really worth looking at the waterfall during the full moon period.
The large area around the falls is a very nice picnic spot.
Jungle safari Corbett National Park
If you want to spot wild animals or have a special view of herds of elephants or different deer species, Corbett National Park offers several safari options in the jungle.
You can even take a jeep safari in the jungle of Corbett and if you're lucky enough you can even spot tigers.
