Gulmarg Gondola
A Gulmarg take a gondola ride is a must. Designed to be the second highest cableway project in the world, Gulmarg Gondola is on two levels. In the first phase, visitors are taken to Kongdori, which is located at a height of 2600 m; and in the second phase, visitors are taken to an altitude of 3747m at Aparwath Peak.
A ride on the Gulmarg gondola lift is truly a unique experience. On a clear day you can also see the magnificent Nanga Parbat.
Sanctuary of Baba Reshi
The shrine of Baba Reshi is 500 years old and occupies an important role in the religious life of Gulmarg. The Baba Reshi sanctuary is dedicated to Baba Payamuddin and is a highly recommended visit for those without children (as it is believed that spouses without children pray here and that their wishes are fulfilled). Not only is this sanctuary important as a religious place but it has a very attractive architecture.
Important influence of the Mughal and Persian architecture of the sanctuary and the beautifully crafted wooden artwork within are the main attractions for history buffs.
